* Ok so I hurt my ankle and I had shooting pains that woke me up quite frequently, well one early morning they were really bad, nothing I did made them any better and I couldn't sleep, so I watched the sunrise!

well I am getting closer and closer to being done! I can't wait. I hope I make it, but due to injuries, I may have to make a few adjustments and things, because, by no appreciation of mine, I may not be able to do the mission trip this year! :(

#23: See tho movie Office Space:
I watched this movie last night when I went to go visit my friend Heather. I kinda liked the movie, but I honestly think I may have actually felt brain cells dying afterwards! But altogether it was pretty good. We also watched Fight Club, which I LOVED!

I was doing gatekeepers and my phone got broke my one of the kids in the class I was helping....I am not happy about it, but I love my new phone...I had missed my slider and I got a T-Mobile T239. it is red.

I got my sister's boyfriend Monopoly for Christmas and he has been dying to play it! and finally I broke down and played. I lost, but I played the game all the way through until I did.....and it was pretty fun....although I went to jail....a lot!!

One night a neighbor came over and wanted to play poker and taught me how.....burn....flop....bet....burn....turn....bet....burn...river! It was fun even though I lost both times we played!

I made a new friend and his name is Luke. He lives in the UK, but I hate the time difference. He is cool though. I can't wait to keep getting to know him better!! so far, I am liking what I am seeing and hearing!! More on that later!!

#4: Make a new food....
I actually made a few new foods, I made potato soup and I also made chicken fried rice and veggies. Both went well....my family loved them both, and I had a lot of fun cooking them.
#5: Get 17 credit hours I can actually use:
My grades ended up being A,A,A-,B,B,C,C+.....this fir a GPA of 2.903. But I can use all 17 hours I took of classes!
#55:See a Palm Tree
Being from the midwest, I thought this would be a bit more difficult than it was. I actually saw a real palm tree outside of a carwash while we were wedding shopping. (before you freak, we were not wedding shopping for me!). It was a bit disappointing that there is now much more to the story than that, but it is whatever, I'll take it for what it is and cross it off the list anyway!

I went there with her to feed and water the dog her family was dogsitting....cute dog, pretty house. Her cat loved me too, but her little demon possessed puppy hated me!!
#77: Watch an Instant netflix movie
I watched Tattoo: A Love Story, a suggestion for a friend. He chose well, I loved the movie and I would recommend it to anyone, it has a little bit of language, but altogether, it is a cute romance movie with a spin.
#85: Finish Bible Journals
Bible Journals were an assignment for a class. There was over 100 Bible Journals that we had to do, half page each. These were summaries if assigned chapters. I got them all done about two hours or so before I was supposed to turn them in....but at least they were not late. Got an A on them too! :)

#4: Make a new food....
I actually made a few new foods, I made potato soup and I also made chicken fried rice and veggies. Both went well....my family loved them both, and I had a lot of fun cooking them.
#5: Get 17 credit hours I can actually use:
My grades ended up being A,A,A-,B,B,C,C+.....this fir a GPA of 2.903. But I can use all 17 hours I took of classes!
#55:See a Palm Tree
Being from the midwest, I thought this would be a bit more difficult than it was. I actually saw a real palm tree outside of a carwash while we were wedding shopping. (before you freak, we were not wedding shopping for me!). It was a bit disappointing that there is now much more to the story than that, but it is whatever, I'll take it for what it is and cross it off the list anyway!

I went there with her to feed and water the dog her family was dogsitting....cute dog, pretty house. Her cat loved me too, but her little demon possessed puppy hated me!!
#77: Watch an Instant netflix movie
I watched Tattoo: A Love Story, a suggestion for a friend. He chose well, I loved the movie and I would recommend it to anyone, it has a little bit of language, but altogether, it is a cute romance movie with a spin.
#85: Finish Bible Journals
Bible Journals were an assignment for a class. There was over 100 Bible Journals that we had to do, half page each. These were summaries if assigned chapters. I got them all done about two hours or so before I was supposed to turn them in....but at least they were not late. Got an A on them too! :)

I got the joy of dying Easter eggs with my cousins and one of their friends on the 3rd, then on the 4th, I went to church, and then came home and dyed Easter eggs, I have forgotten how much fun it was!!
I wore a dress to Easter Sunday, which, if you know me, is pretty well amazing. I typically wear jeans and a nice shirt, but I wore a dress and curled my hair and wore make-up. Then it was on to Easter dinner with my genetic family, adopted family, and a neighbor, whose daughter was out of town. It was a good time, passed out Easter egg baskets that my sister and her boyfriend had made. The Easter egg baskets have been a tradition in this family since Josh, who turns 24 this year, could eat rice crispies. It make me smile to just dig into that basket every year.
The stage crew was for band. My sister is in band, therefore, I got roped into being on stage crew for their bad festival for part of the day. I was in the sight reading room for the morning half and stage crew for the other half until someone got sick, so I was back in sight reading. All-in-all, it was a pretty fun day, but I was beat the next day. Give blood+ 3 days later do stage crew=big nap!

ok so I got all kinds of excited and finished my list in a few days. I actually finished yesterday, but after giving blood (therefore crossing one off my list). Ok there is the list, and here is a funny story about it. I didn't realize while writing it, and the five people that looked at it didn't realize that I had forgotten numbers 74 through 78, but it is a good thing that I had extra things written down.
OK Saving a life. I already said that I donated blood yesterday, and so it was kinda funny because the whole process took me 40 minutes start to finish. I spent 15 minutes doing pre stuff and 15 minutes post giving blood. It took them a little under 5 minutes to get the IV in me and it took me a little over 5 minutes to give a pint of blood. Apparently that is very quick. So I came to the conclusion that I needed to count my blessings that I was losing blood in a controlled way, not that I had gotten shot or anything.
OK so I decided that I am going to try and scrap book as much as I can about my next 1,001 days. Well 999 now. I will try and get a countdown thingy to put on here.....and when I am done, hopefully the list will be done, I'll have some kick-butt scrapbook pages, and I will be a better person, so till I accomplish something else. PEACE OUT!

To New Beginnings
so I have devoted to making a list of 101 things that I want to do in 1,001 days. This means that I have 2.74 years, to accomplish 101 things. Now the questions lies in will I be able to do it or not. I am willing to take this challenge head on and hopefully not crash and burn. My only reward is knowing that I set out on a mission and I accomplished it. That and I will have 101 new expieriences to add to the list of things that I have done. No one will be able to tell me that i accomplished nothing in my college years. For the next 2.74 years, I will work to cross things off one by one with the help of family, friends, classmates, schoolmates, and maybe even complete strangers. I will feel a sense of satisfaction each time I complete a task and can cross one more thing off the list. I will at the end look back at my journey with a smile on my face and a full head of memories. I will know that I started the journey of 1,001 days, 101 things.....with one solitary step. I will try to keep things updated on here as much as possible and I will try to photograph as many expieriences as possible. This way, you all can take my journey with me.....and that journey starts, just as soon as I finish my list. I am hoping that I can by the end of the week....till then....peace out girl scouts!! :)
